Over the past few days, we made some little star-shaped buttons from avocado pits…we had sooo many thanks to food saving! After drying, the buttons become almost as hard as wood and are perfect for doll clothes or a tiny crocheted bag. How to: Let the pit dry for a few days first, the brown skin will come off more easily. Slice the pit into approx. 5 mm thick pieces, parallel to the center line of the pit. Use a small star-shaped cutter to cut out the stars. Let the little buttons dry thoroughly
