✔️SAKYA MONASTERY: HISTORIC LIBRARY The monastery is considered as the seat of the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism. Sakya Monastery houses a huge library of as many as 84,000 books on traditional stacks 60 metres (200 ft) long and 10 metres (33 ft) high. This ancient monastery is of cultural significance because it is home to some of the oldest Tibetan artwork and thousands of ancient manuscripts and books. Towering shelves along the walls of the Lhakhang Chempo contain tens of thousands of man
