American Magic, the sailing team operator owned by Amway’s Doug DeVos, has acquired SailGP’s Denmark-based Rockwool Racing team for $60M. The team was previously owned by the league.

SailGP announced today that the ROCKWOOL Racing SailGP Team has been acquired by leading sports investor and American Magic Co-Founder, Doug DeVos.

The Danes set a new speed record of 103.93km/h for the professional sailing league in Germany last August.
