Severe thunderstorms produced hail up to half-dollar and ping-pong ball size across multiple North Georgia counties.

A flood advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 6:19 p.m. in effect until 9:15 p.m. for Pickens and Tuscaloosa counties.
